Marie Josée

This beautiful dusted rose colour was named after health care worker Marie Josée 

Marie Josée works as a radiation therapist at HSN in Sudbury, Ontario’s Cancer center. She is an integral part of the radiation oncology department and takes her work to heart, treating her patients as tho they were family.

Marie Josee, or MJ as her friends & family call her, is one of the most hard-working, driven women Out there! No matter what, she puts her mind to this mighty powerhouse and gets it done! She can go from farm glam to powerlifter to momma and straight on to boss mare!  She also runs a large horse boarding facility alongside her husband and young son, with who she builds her life around. They tackle all things as a team and ensure those around them are taken care of. It’s all about family and working together. She rides & shows her horses and takes care of 25+ horses under her ever-watchful eye. Referred to as “momma M” around the barn, she ensures everything is running smoothly & that all the equines and their humans are getting the best care! A crack shot with a gun, too, so don’t mess around; just kidding!

One of her other passions is powerlifting, a sport she has taken on with a long-distance coach who can also share how dedicated she is! MJ fell in love with powerlifting as a tool and outlet. She often speaks to it as therapeutic & empowering her as a woman, not succumbing to the body image pressures but working with her strengths and embracing them! She has the most beautiful smile & brings positive encouragement to all in her life. There’s no doing things halfway or half-hearted, and these qualities are so apparent in every aspect of her life!
